Nordic Nature Guide AS

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking or participating in a tour organised by Nordic Nature Guide AS, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.

2. Safety and Participation Requirements

a. Participation requires a reasonable level of physical health and mobility. Nordic Nature Guide AS reserves the right to deny participation if it is considered a risk to the individual or the group.
b. Participants must follow all safety instructions given by the guide during the tour.
c. Participants are responsible for bringing appropriate clothing and equipment suitable for weather conditions and tour requirements. Any specific requirements will be communicated in advance.

3. Reservation and Payment

a. Full payment is required to confirm a booking.
b. For direct bookings, cancellations made at least 5 days before the tour date are eligible for a full refund.
c. Cancellations made less than 5 days before the tour date may not be refunded.

4. Cruise Ship Cancellation Policy

a. If a cruise ship is unable to dock in Olden and the tour cannot be operated as planned, participants will receive a full refund.
b. If a cruise ship arrives in Olden but a participant fails to join the tour (for example due to late disembarkation, personal delay, or missed meeting time), standard cancellation terms apply.
c. If a cruise ship is significantly delayed and the tour cannot be completed safely within the available port time, Nordic Nature Guide AS reserves the right to cancel the tour and provide a full refund.

5. Changes, Cancellations and Force Majeure

a. Nordic Nature Guide AS reserves the right to cancel or modify tours due to weather conditions, safety concerns, insufficient participation, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.
b. Nordic Nature Guide AS is not responsible for cancellations or changes caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, government restrictions, or other force majeure events.

6. Bookings Through Third-Party Platforms

Some tours may be booked through third-party platforms such as Viator or GetYourGuide.

For bookings made through third-party platforms, the cancellation policy, payment terms and booking conditions of the platform apply.
Participants must contact the platform where the booking was made regarding cancellations, refunds or booking changes.

7. Liability and Insurance

a. Participants are responsible for having appropriate travel and personal insurance.
b. Nordic Nature Guide AS is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings during tours.
c. Participation in outdoor activities involves inherent risks. Nordic Nature Guide AS cannot be held liable for injuries unless caused by proven negligence.
d. If equipment is provided (for example bicycles, helmets or other gear), participants are responsible for proper use. Damage caused by misuse or negligence may result in liability for compensation.

8. Alcohol and Drugs

Participation under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not permitted. Participants may be excluded from the tour without refund.

9. Photography and Marketing

Nordic Nature Guide AS may take photographs or video recordings during tours for marketing purposes unless participants request otherwise.

10. Privacy

Personal data is handled confidentially and in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws.

By booking or participating in tours organised by Nordic Nature Guide AS, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.
